Noida Police arrested 10 people for gathering to offer Namaz and Violating lockdown in Noida.

Noida: On Thursday in Gautam Buddh Nagar of Noida. Group of 10 people were arrested including the organiser.
Due for gathering to offer Namaz and Violating lockdown imposed. They were identified as Saadiq (Organiser), Saquib,Guddu,Noor Hasan,Tabrooq, Chhotu, Shamsher,Firoz and ,Razi Alam,
Saaliq.

They were immediately arrested when Noida Police came to knew about this activity. An FIR was lodged against them under provisions including those of the National disaster management act,2005 and Uttar Pradesh Epidemic Diseases act ,1897. A video is also getting viral in Social Media in which10-12 mens gathering to offer Namaz on the terrace of a house.

The police said Section 144 of the code of Criminal Procedure was imposed in Gautam Buddh Nagar to Curb the Spread of Coronavirus.

“Despite all these men violated the orders for fulfilling a common objective and illegally held a gathering to offer Namaz. By their defiance and ignorance their act could be bad to spread Coronavirus”.

So far 48 cases of Coronavirus have been detected in Gautam Buddh Nagar
which is the highest number of COVID-19 patient for any district in Uttar Pradesh , according to official figures.
